First Meeting of December

In the first meeting of December, not many of us were there so we had a new guest, Laura. Unfortunatelly I had to leave early and I couldn't enjoy too much her company. Fer made a delicius pumpkin risotto served with grilled courgette. No special deserts made by Ioana but we had the AH Chocolate Mousse Cake. I finished the hat, Fer continues with the baby shoe and Ioana and Aida are helping each other - Ioana works on Aida's dress and Aida works on the Chirstmas decorations.

Our last meeting of the year will be tomorrow. Let's hope for a nice celebration.

November ending

Last week we had a delicious dinner prepared by our guests Lidiane and Chico. Chicken with orange sauce, white rice and salad. To close the night we had as desert those amazing cupcakes provided by Ioana. She did it again! Surprised us with her extraordinary talent :-)

The projects are running, Lesley tried to start a hat (Ikept providing wrong advise). I tried to finish a hat. Fer had progress with the baby shoe (so cute), Aury is mastering the scarf and Aida of course finished Fons birthday gift. Let's see what the girls will bring tomorrow.

Yesterday

Yesterday we had a delicious dinner prepared by Aury and me (no space for modesty). Aury made a delicious ratatoiulle sauce, served with pasta and I made a Salmon. Desert was provided by Ioanna: chocolate cupcakes with strawberry & lemon icing.

Aida and Fernanda started a new project (not together), I am almost done with my new scarf and Ioanna continues boosting the Romanian Christmas.

Hopefuly Gordon will get the email I sent and soon we will have pictures of the amazing time.

We are back!

Our President is back from Brazil and will be cooking for us. Ioanna & Gordon will bring dessert (this is becoming a tradition). To celebrate this moment, I am sharing a picture of my first hat... It was a bit big, so I decided to make a new one...

Special Crochet Night

Last week, we had a special crochet night. I cooked following Aida's suggestions of having one pasta & two sauces. One of the sauces was adapted from one of Jamie's recipes. I had to adapt it because we could not find parsnip - used courgette - and we had to do something ligth - used low-fat bacon. The other sauce is my grandma's recipe and it is not a secret, but neither a recipe. It is a simple tomato sauce that cooks for long with onions, garlic and many herbs (basilicum, spring onions, parsley, oregano).
